Your Website Settings

Your website settings are where you can edit/update your URL segment, add your logo, choose your fonts and select your primary colour (i.e colour of your website) 

There are two website settings tabs - you will find these in the Website module, in the top right. These are broken down into the sections:

• Design
• Site Settings

 

Design

Step 1: Head to the 'Design' section in the Website module. 

Here you can change the Site Primary colour, Heading Font and Body Font

Step 2: To change the Site Primary colour - click on the arrow to open the colour tool. Here are three ways to choose a colour: 

Step 3: Choose a preset colour on to the left, use the colour picker tool on the right or below that you can enter the Hex Colour Code. Once you have chosen your colour, hit 'choose'.

Step 4: Then use the WCAG AA Contrast Checker to make sure that your website meets the standards for accessibility. Whilst you can choose a colour that fails, we don't recommend it. 

Step 5: Click 'Save site settings'

Step 6: Next you can upload a Favicon, this is a small icon which sits next to the title in your browser tab. A custom favicon will make your site identifiable amongst other browser tabs.

Click the 'Upload a PNG..' and upload your Favicon image.

Favicon is the smaller image of your logo (shown above, in red) and is displayed on web browser tabs and bookmarks to increase brand awareness. 

Please note: As this is a smaller image you will need to upload 16x16 or 32x32 logo. Please see: How To Edit Images to resize your logo. You can rename the smaller image as favicon image. 

Step 7: Select between the two navigation bar layouts.

Step 8: Upload your Site logo image by clicking in the 'Upload a JPG..' box,

Please ensure that your logo is within the recommended sizing for best viewing (dimensions of 75-300px by 75px),

Please note: This is also the same logo that will appear within any emails that you send from within the platform. If you find that the logo in the emails you send is not showing correctly, please try to resize the logo to the recommended size.

Step 9 (optional): If you insert an external website URL in the Logo URL override, your logo will then link to an external website rather than your Clubspark home page.

By default, when clicking on your venue's logo and text will automatically navigate to the venue's Clubspark homepage.

Step 10: Toggle the Display venue name on or off.

This option is linked with your with your Site logo in Step 8. If you have added a logo, you can choose to display the venue name or hide it.  By ticking this your venue name will be displayed in text next to your logo in the website header. Normally this is a good idea if your logo does not include the name.

Step 11: Before moving on to the Site settings tab, please remember to click the blue 'Save site settings' button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 12: Go to the 'Site settings' tab located on the right of the Design tab. 

Step 13: Under 'Site address' you can edit your URL segment

The URL Segment is by default the name of your club - i.e https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/YourClub

You can edit this to create a unique web address for your Clubspark website.

Step 14: Set a 'Short URL Segment'. The Short URL Segment is used to create a shorter unique web address for your site - i.e https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/YC

Please note: You can also add a subdirectory to the URL to target specific pages like the Membership page, e.g. https://clubspark.net/CMS/Join

You can use this address as an alternative on social media, or posters, or anywhere else with limited characters.

Step 15: If you have a 'Google Analytics' code, then please fill this in the Google analytics tracking ID box:

Step 16: The 'Hide LTA site footer logo option' in 'LTA branding', will remove the LTA logo (highlighted in the image below) from the bottom (footer) of your website, as below.

Step 17: To set up your 'Social' links, this has to be done in the Profile module. Click the hyperlink 'your venue profile' to add these in.
