If you have a Coaching Organisation account, then you can add up to 15 venues to display on your coaching website to show where you coach as well as use when creating a coaching course.
Note: this is only available to those with a coaching organization setting at present.
You can also enable a locations page on your website, which would display the venues where you coach and your courses at those venues.
This guide will take you through the steps of how to:
- Add your Locations / Venues where you coach
- Display the locations on your website
- Display the locations as a Seperate Tab
- Build your Locations Site Information
Add your Locations / Venues where you coach
Step 1:
You'll first head to the Website Module within the admin area of your Coaching Organisation account. Once here you'll need to click on the 'Locations' Tab where you will see the following:
Step 2:
Scroll down to Locations, if you had previous set up with 'venues' they will show. If you are new, then click +Add Location.
When you click Add location - a pop up will appear, search for the name, town or postcode.
If you need to remove any venues from your list, you can do so by clicking the 'Edit' button located on the same line but on the right-hand side of the venue you wish to remove. Then Delete.
Please Note: The venue will need to already be within the LTA or Clubspark database. Contact clubspark support via the HELP button.
Step 3:
Once you have added all your venues, click the blue 'Save Page Changes' button.
Step 4:
Once you have saved your updates, the venues will now appear on the home page of your website.
B) Display the locations on your website
Once you have added the locations on your website - you now have a few options to display them to the public.
You can display the locations on the home page of your coaching website. There are two options on how this would look. Either List or Carousel. The options look like this:
LIST
or
CAROUSEL - If there are more than 3 venues there is a button to go to the right to scroll through all the venues. Note: You will need to add the images and descriptions to the images, otherwise they will just show with the first letter of the venue. Examples below.
This option is useful if you want to add more detail to your venues. The map only shows at LIST view.
C) Display the locations as a Seperate Tab
You can now have your locations listed on a seperate tab. You can enable this in the website module, as you would your other modules.
The benefit of this is display the courses/programmes/ camps that are at that venue. You can also provide a little more information about the venue. i.e. where to park etc.
To enable this, just toggle the 'show in navigation' to show Blue.
Add some content and remember to click save.
The navigation order is the order it will appear on your tabs. So in this example - 2.
The user can then click on the View Location to view more information specific to that location.
D) Build your Locations Site Information
When you add your location. You can then add a photo which will show in the thumbnail.
You can add information about the location - this may be the number of courts, where to park, where to meet you as the coach - i.e. courts 3&4 or come to the club house.
Remember to click Save Changes.
Important Reminders to Protect You!
In the Clubspark admin pages there are many areas where admins can upload photos to public facing web pages to help enhance and customize their tournament homepages and organization websites.
As a reminder you should have permission or a license to use any images you use in your materials and online if you are not the actual copyright holder.
Please do not download and use images you find online, in social media, or various other platforms without the permission of the photographer (or other copyright owner). But, you may think, others are downloading and sharing photos all the time so how can it be illegal? Although this may be a common occurrence, it's copyright infringement to use images you do not have rights to.
You should not take an image you sourced online and post it on your website or include it in your materials unless you have permission or a license to do so. Still have questions? Customer Service can help!
