In response to the social distancing guidelines, if you have multiple courts, a good way to reduce the chances of meeting is to have players start their games at different intervals.
The aim will be to have the courts start time at the beginning of the day start differently. i.e. court 1 will start at 9 am and court 2 at 9.15 am.
To do this, you will need to change the court booking slots into 15-minute slots to enable this. This is a workaround as this is new to us all.
To implement this on your courts you will need to amend your basic settings and court schedules.
First, you will need to go to the court booking tab on the left-hand side and then click on settings on the top right. This will take you to this page.
First - click on Basic Settings - manage basic settings.
Here you will need to go to the timing and change the court booking duration to 15 minutes. (you can choose how long you want to do this, 30 minutes or an hour) For this example, I have chosen 15 minutes and our courts open at 8 am and close at 10 pm.
Then press save.
Next, you will go back to settings (top right) and click on schedules. Manage Schedules.
Here you will choose the schedule for the time period you wish to implement. You can add a new schedule for this period or use the default.
Click on Manage
Here you will need to set the schedule on the different courts. In the drop down click on the courts and choose Court 1 and create seperate schedule.
Using the colour coding on the right-hand side - you close the courts by clicking on the yellow closed on the table to the left. You go through and close the alternative courts. Remember to press save on each one. For this example, I have 4 courts and it will be seen on the booking sheet as below:
You can also close the court for 15-minute intervals throughout the day by the same way as seen in social distance.
Remember you can check the online page by clicking the view page online button found in the top right of the screen as below:
You will notice that the court booking times are now in 15-minute intervals, the player will have the option to choose up to the total length the court booking rules allow in the drop-down box.
If you have booking rules set up, you will need to change these in the court booking setting, for example, if you previously had a court duration for 1 hour and you allowed people to book in 1-hour duration, you will need to change this to 4. i.e. 4 x 15-minute slots = 1hour total.
