Introduction
This article explains what you can do if you want to stop a former member from rejoining the club after they have left. At this time, there is no built-in feature to permanently block a member from renewing or re-joining once they have been removed.
What you can do
Admins can manage the member's contact record by archiving it. Archived contacts are moved to a separate view and can be restored within a certain period. After that period, the contact is permanently deleted and the historical transaction data is anonymized.
How to handle future membership attempts
Monitor new membership applications for the individual.
If the person submits a new application, manually reject it or archive the contact record again.
Continue to review incoming renewals or registrations to ensure the member does not rejoin.
Important limitations
There is currently no permanent member block feature available in the system. Archiving helps manage the contact record, but it does not automatically prevent a person from submitting a new membership application.
