If you have the premium smart access lighting enabled, there may be times when you want to cancel the court booking and turn the lighting off.
Turning the lights off during the booking
If you wish to terminate your game half way through a booking and turn the lights off, you will need to go to your court booking and cancel the booking. It may take a maximum of 15 minutes for the relay to update. (It is updated every 15 minutes) .
As a player can do this from your Profile or the admin if you have admin access.

Closing Courts to prevent bookings and lights
There may be times, due to bad weather or vandalism at the facility that you want to close the courts - you have two options.
To close courts via the Booking Sheet Option
You can do this by advanced booking - choosing closed as the category.
- This will prevent people booking.
- If you have any bookings- as an admin you can email all the people booked and let them know the facility is closed.
- You will need to cancel the bookings in bulk or manually

If you have lighting enabled as it is set in the schedule. The lights will still come on.
How to cancel bookings: Cancelling A Court Booking or see below for bulk cancelling
To close all facilities - do this via the calendar option:
Booking - Settings -Calendar - It will close ALL Facilities / booking sheets. It is not possible to choose by resource.
- It will prevent people from booking.
- It will not cancel the current bookings- you will need to inform those who have booked.
- It will cancel the lighting for future days- but NOT on the day you are closing, this is because the lighting instructions are already sent. To cancel the lighting for 'today' you need to cancel the bookings in the admin page.

Canceling a Booking in Bulk as an admin
You can bulk cancel bookings from the admin pages, this will automatically send an email to all the contacts to inform them you have canceled. You can also bulk refund at the same time. It is not possible to apply credits this way, but you can do that in bulk also if needed. See Applying/Cancelling Credits for a Booking
To cancel in bulk. Open the Booking Module admin page.
Identify the day you wish to cancel and either select ALL bookings for that day, or just tick the bookings you wish to cancel. Once the bookings all have a blue tick next to them, click on the trash can.
A pop up will appear to confirm you wish to cancel the bookings and if you wish to refund them.
On confirmed, you will get a confirmation and the bookings will be moved to cancelled.
