You have the ability to create custom competitions for your venue with the Events Module. Here you will be able to set up competition events as well as other social events. Please Note: The system isn't set up for social events as such, we are working on this and hopefully it will be a new feature implemented to the system soon. However, as a workaround you could set up a custom competition event, which you can call it what you wish, i.e. Quiz Night.
Head to your Events Module and select the blue 'Create new' button to create a competition. The below window will appear, where you need to select 'Competition'.
Complete the following fields with all your event information. Please Note: If you wish to take online payments for the event you will need a Stripe account set up.
Once you are happy with the information, select 'Save Event'. Here you can see a table showing all the event information.
Details: Where you can edit the event information
Activities: Promote your activities online, complete the fields for the activity requirements within the competition.
Attendees: Here you can see who is booking onto your competition
Email Reminders: You can send email reminders to your registered attendees 24 hours before.
Payments: Anyone that has made payments will show here
Once you are happy, you can publish this event 'live' to your website by selecting the 'Publish Event to website' button. You can also view the event online by selecting 'View Event Online'.
