What is "On Behalf of Booking"?
This feature allows the Administrator / Booking Administrator or / Booking Sheet Administrator to make bookings on behalf of someone else.
An example of this would be that one of the above listed administrators could "Book on behalf of Guest" to make court bookings, charged at the guest price. The administrator could also "Book on behalf of Member" to make a court booking at the agreed fee (or free of charge) for that member.
Step 1:
Firstly head to the Booking Module along the left hand side of the Admin page.
Step 2:
Next click 'Settings' and then 'Manage basic settings'. Scroll down until you reach the 'Payment' section and make sure the online payments box is selected. To select this box you must have a registered Stripe account.
Step 3:
To book a court on behalf of a guest or a member you must select this option from the drop-down menu on the right-hand side when on the booking sheet for your venue.
Here the booking sheet will display the prices you have set for members and non-members
Step 4:
Click on the desired booking slot the guest would like, after clicking on the booking slot an overlay will appear (see image below).
Start typing a name in the 'Contact' field, here you will be able to click '+ New Contact' if they are not already in your database.
If you have Group Booking set up, you will also be able to enter the names of any other players who will be joining them.
Step 5:
Once you have filled in all the contact details click 'Continue'.
You will then be taken to the 'Confirm Booking' page, where you will see the booking details and break down of total cost when clicking on 'Show More'.
If you scroll further down the page, this is where you will be able to enter payment information in the form of showing that payment has been made, or a payment is needed to be taken/pending. You can also edit the cost's
The image below is an example of showing that payment has already been taken, here you can select what the payment method used was.
If you are still awaiting payment, you will switch to 'Pay On Behalf Of', here you can also make updates to the fees. You will be able to send a confirmation email to the main contact for the booking, as confirmation emails will not get sent to any of the other players added.
Step 6:
You will then need to click 'Confirm and pay', where you will see the following overlay to enter card details and make payment online.
Once payment has been successfully taken, you will be taken to the confirmation screen and the booking will now appear on your booking sheet.
