The platform only supports Pausing Memberships for GoCardless only, Stripe Subscriptions are not supported with this feature yet.
There may be circumstances when the member or administrator does not want to cancel their membership but would like to pause the membership for a period of time. This may be due to illness or injury, or when the facilities of the club are unavailable.
Within the Membership module, this feature provides clubs with a way to easily bulk or individually pause direct debit membership subscriptions.
Please note: This will NOT stop any of your players from booking a court. This is just to pause a Membership Record and any monthly (GoCardless) subscriptions that are linked. All players will still be able to book a court as an active member would either a price or for FREE (depending on your Court Settings).
You will not be able to pause a membership when in the 'View all members' section. This can only be done when going into the membership package.
Step 1: Head to the Membership module on the left hand side in your Admin area.
Step 2: Click into your membership package where you will need to select all the members you wish to pause. You can go through the list individually or tick the box (next to the First Name column) to select all.
Step 3: Next click on the the 'more' button (icon with the three dots), you will see the option 'Pause membership'.
Step 4: This will bring up the overlay screen below, anyone paying via monthly instalments will appear in the member's box. If you have selected multiple members and they are not showing in this overlay, this may be because the member has paid in full.
Step 5: You then need to confirm you want to pause these memberships by ticking the box and selecting the blue 'Confirm' button. You will get another overlay telling you the membership pause was successfully processed.
Step 6: You will see that the member(s) will have been moved from the 'Active' tab to the 'Paused' tab with a status of 'Paused'.
