Membership Add-ons Overview

A new and exciting feature, the new Add-ons module, has just landed on the platform. You'll now be able to have product add-ons when purchasing or renewing a membership.

The new Add-ons module works alongside the Memberships module.

Suggested ideas for using add-ons: 

• Purchasing a product - tube of balls or club t-shirts/hoodies
• Key fob to access the clubhouse
• Donation (i.e. facility project/fundraiser)
• Tickets to a club event, dinner, awards evening

How to add a product via the add-ons module: 

Step 1: First, head to the Add-ons module on the left side of the Admin area.

Step 2: Click on the blue 'Add Product' button (in the top right corner)

Step 3: You'll then be presented with the Add Product form, please fill in the details as required. First, give the product a name.

Step 4: Set the Product Status to Public, Hidden or Archived.

(Hidden makes it not available to purchase yet and Archived is for when the add-on has been discontinued)

Step 5 (Optional): Write a product description, to give members a bit more information on the product.

Step 6: Create a unique SKU Code to be able to quickly identify between all the different add-on products available.

Please note: The SKU code should NOT include any special character such as '-' these will prevent the page from saving.

Step 7: Set a price for the product.

Step 8: At the very bottom of the page, you'll have an option to select which membership package(s) to add this product add-on to. Click 'Choose package(s)'. 

(This will only give the option to purchase the add on to new/renewing members when joining the selected packages)

Step 9: Apply the product to the relevant packages. The 'Select all' button will apply this product to all available membership packages, or you can check the box beside the relevant package(s) to apply to specific packages.

If you have many packages, you may wish to type package name into the 'Search packages' filter at the top of the pop-up box. 

(To remove all options ticked quickly, use the 'Deselect' button to the left of the Cancel button)

Step 10: Click 'Confirm selections' to apply this product to the selected packages:

Step 11: Click 'Save product' to complete the process and save your product/add-on: 

After saving, you will then be redirected to the 'Products' table and the new product will be listed, as shown below.
