To cancel an event, you'll need to follow the steps within this guide.
These steps are the same for all event types.
Step 1: You'll first need to head to the Admin area and go to the Events module.
Step 2: Here you'll find all of your upcoming events. Click into the event category to locate the event you are looking to cancel.
Step 3: Click on 'Options' next to the event you wish to cancel and then select 'Edit event'
Step 4: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on 'Cancel event'
Step 5: An overlay will appear, if you have attendees signed up for the event then you can add in a message to let them know of the cancellation
You will also need to tick the 'I confirm' box and then 'Yes' before you'll be able to proceed with cancelling the event.
Please note: By cancelling an event, this will not trigger a refund.
Step 6: The event will now show as cancelled. You will see the status showing as 'Cancelled'
