This is a great feature designed to save you time, instead of having to create a new event from scratch you can simply duplicate an existing event. You also have the option to import active members across to the new event if needed.
The guide below will cover how to duplicate the event and import active participants fn you wish.
The steps within the guide are the same for all events.
Step 1: You'll first need to head to the Admin area and go to the Events module.
Step 2: Here you'll find all of your upcoming events. Click into the event category to locate the event you wish to duplicate
Step 3: Once you have selected the category, you will see all 'Active Events' appear.
Step 4: Click on 'Options' and select 'Duplicate'
Step 5: The next screen will appear, the event will be copied exactly as it is, you just need to enter a new start date and select if you want to import the active participants across to the new event. If you do choose this option you will be ready to send payment requests to any participants you add. Then select 'Duplicate'
Step 6: The next screen will bring up the event so you can amend any details you wish e.g. Event Name. Here you can also add anymore sessions needed for the new event.
Step 7: Your new event will appear on the landing page under the category it was created in:
