Overview
NOTE: This feature is not currently live, as we are currently completing testing. Please reach out directly though submit and email. Further instructions are available here: Managing-Your-Courts-for-Facility-Court-Pitch-Booking
The Multi-Use Resources feature allows you to link multiple resources together, ensuring automatic availability updates when a linked resource is booked. This prevents double bookings and improves resource management.
For example:
- A full-size tennis court can also be used as two pickleball courts. If one pickleball court is booked, the full tennis court is not available, but the 2nd pickleball is.
- A full-sized football pitch can be used as two half-sized pitches. When one half-pitch is booked, the system will automatically block the full pitch from being booked separately.
How to Set Up Multi-Use Resources
If you do not have the multibooking sheet, this is because it is not yet enabled on your platform. You can reach out to support to find out when it will be available.
-
Go to Resources
- Navigate to the Resources section in ClubSpark.
- Note: Resources and Booking Sheets are now managed separately.
-
Create Unique Resources
- Add each resource as a separate entry.
- Example: Create Tennis and Pickleball A and Pickleball B as distinct resources. You may already have the tennis court created.
-
Link the Resources
- Start by editing the 'child' resource - in this case the Pickleball Court.
- Navigate to the Linked Resources section and connect it to the parent resources (e.g., the tennis court).
- Do this for all child resources. Make sure you click Update Resource after making an edit.
-
Complete Resource Setup
Assigned Booking Sheet – Select the appropriate booking sheet.
-
Confirm in Booking Sheets
- Go to Booking Sheets and verify that the linked resources appear correctly.
-
Test Your Setup
- Create test bookings on both parent and child resources.
- Ensure that when one is booked, the linked resources are marked as unavailable.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage shared spaces and prevent scheduling conflicts within ClubSpark.
