The Coaching Module allows you to create LTA Tennis for Kids courses.
Go to your Coaching Module and click on 'LTA Tennis for Kids'
Here, you will see there is a LTA Checklist - in order to run a Tennis for Kids course, you must complete the following information:
Once you have completed these three steps, your checklist will be 100% complete and you are ready to set up your TFK courses(s). Click on 'Add new course' in the top right corner.
First, fill in the details section.
Next fill out the 'Start date' and 'Interval' for your course. The 'Capacity' can be edited to either 10 or 16. Here you can also decide what kind of 'Waiting list' you want to set up:
- Automatic - The next player on the TFK shared waiting list who meets the age criteria of a course will be automatically invited to a course when a space becomes available. The parent/guardian will receive an email prompting them to accept or decline the invitation. If they decline or fail to respond within 48 hours, the next player in line will be invited onto a course. If they accept they will be directed to the checkout page where they will need to provide further details and payment.
- Manual - Coaches will need to select the player they wish to invite from the waiting list and who meets the age criteria of the course. The parent/guardian will receive an email prompting them to accept or decline the invitation. If they decline the place or fail to respond within 48 hours, the coach will be prompted to invite another player. If they accept they will be directed to the checkout page where they will need to provide further details and payment.
You can then enter a 'Contact Email Address' and 'Contact Phone Number'.
You can now change the capacity for these courses, you can set it to allow 16 players to book (see screen below).
You then have the Delivery Address section - enter the address where you would like your promotional pack to be delivered.
The cost of the course is set to £29.99. this can't be changed, £5 of the fee will go to the LTA and £4.99 is for P&P of the TFK kit that the participant received.
If you want players to be able to join after the course has started you will need to tick the box. Under Class Defaults choose your 'Lead Coach' and 'Time' of the course. The 'Duration' of the course is set to 60 minutes you can't change this.
Tennis for Kids courses allow you to add a follow on offer - this is to help your players continue playing after the course has finished. Enter the details of your offer in the box. You can select your 'Offer type' from the drop down list (shown below). Then save your course.
You will then be taken to your course page, where you can view and edit classes. You can edit classes by clicking into a class to change the date of one of the classes for example. To edit course details select 'Edit course' in the top right corner.
This course will now be available to be booked online.
