You can set up your booking calendar at the start of the year and make any amendments when required, you can mark your venue as closed for Christmas or bank holidays, or if you have any planned maintenance or expected closures within the year.
Your calendar will display the days of the year already passed as white tiles and these won't be able to be edited.
These steps will overrule your settings in schedules. If they are marked closed, members and pay and play will not be able to access the slots on the days they are closed.
This article covers how to close and reopen your courts.
If you need assistance on how to close a specific court you will find this at the bottom of the guide.
This is simply done through your booking 'Settings' within your Booking Module see below:
Step 1:
In the settings tab on the booking module. Select 'Manage Calendar'.
Step 2:
A grid view will appear with months down the side and the days across the top. You can also make amendments to future years. You have a key for Open, Closed, Unavailable.
Click on the day(s) you wish to make your venue closed. To change a day back, just click on the tile again. (closed is shown as darker grey, open is light blue, past dates as light grey).
Remember to select the blue 'Save calendar' at the bottom of the page once updated.
Step 3:
A box will appear to confirm you wish to save changes.
If you are sure, then click the blue 'Save changes' button.
Step 4:
Head to your booking sheet to see the changes. You can do this by clicking the 'view online' icon in the top right hand corner next to the settings button.
Step 5:
When viewing, change the view to 'View as Member and your booking sheet will appear as below for the closed dates.
Please Note: You will still be able to see the bookings made in the admin pages of the court booking module, where you will be able to cancel the bookings if you wish too.
To reopen the courts, you simply open up the calendar again and click on the dates to open then court booking.
Closing a specific court:
Sometimes you may need to close a specific court or courts rather than them all. If this is the case we recommend you do this via the booking schedules see guide here on how to achieve this go straight to Step 11 on the guide.
