Booking An LTA Youth Start Course

LTA Youth Start courses are open to children between the ages of 4 to 11 and are available all your year from local tennis venues and coaches. 

An LTA Youth Start course is £29.99 + £5 postage and packaging where every child receives 6 high-quality tennis lessons which have been developed by experts at the LTA, as well as their own tennis kit which includes their own racket, ball set and t-shirt delivered right to your door. 

Step 1:

To book onto an LTA Youth Start course near to you, you'll first need to head to the LTA Youth national campaign website where you'll be able to enter your location to see what courses are available nearby.

Step 2:

Once you've found a course that you'd like to book onto, you'll need to click on it.

Here, you'll need to click on the orange 'Book Now' button located within the box on the right-hand side of the screen. 

Please Note: if there are no spaces left on the course, you'll be able to join the course's waitlist where you'll be notified if a space becomes available. Alternatively, you can book onto another course which has spaces available. 

Step 3:

Once you've clicked on the 'Book Now' button, you'll be asked to sign in or to create an account. 

 

Step 4: 

Once you have logged in/created your account, you will be able to enter/select the player's details who will be attending the LTA Youth Start course.

To enter a new player, you'll need to click on the orange '+ Add Player' button.

Where the following will appear: 

You'll also need to remember to scroll to the bottom of the page and to enter your LTA Youth Start t-shirt size. 

• select/edit an existing player

If you have previously booked onto other courses, then your junior may already appear, so you'll need to select the player that'll be attending the LTA Youth Start course.

You'll also be able to edit the player's details by clicking on the orange 'Edit Details' button. 

You'll also need to remember to scroll to the bottom of the page and to enter your LTA Youth Start t-shirt size. 

Please Note: You will need to read the text below the LTA Youth Start kit order form: 

As well as confirming that you are, or have the permission, the parent/guardian of the junior who is being booked onto the course. You'll then need to confirm the player's details. 

Step 5: 

Once you've entered and selected all the players that will be attending the LTA Youth Start course, you'll need to scroll to the bottom of the page a click the orange 'Continue' button. 

Step 6:

Once you've clicked the orange 'Continue' button, you'll be taken to the following page where you'll need to enter the delivery address of the LTA Youth Start kit as well as accept the T&C's of the course.

Step 7: 

Once you've done that, you'll be able to scroll to the bottom of the page and click the orange 'Checkout' button.

Step 8: 

Once you've made your payment, you'll be taken to the confirmation screen: 

Please Note: If you need to cancel the booking, you will have 48 hours from the time of booking. You will need to log in and go to 'My Bookings' and click cancel for a full refund.

After this time, you will need to contact the coach/venue who will be able to issue a refund, which will be minus the P&P for the LTA Youth Start kit as this order would have already been processed and you'll still receive the kit.
