In order to align all kids tennis activities under the LTA Youth programme, Mini Tennis is being phased out. The Mini Tennis category will no longer be available within ClubSpark.
From 31st August 2021, you won't be able to create new Mini Tennis courses on ClubSpark. You will still be able to modify existing courses, add additional sessions and manage registrations for courses taking place in 2021.
Please Note: From 1st January 2022, the Mini Tennis category will be archived and courses will no longer appear on the public coach and club websites. You'll still have access to the courses and associated data.
You can find more information about this change on the LTA Help Desk here
Your Next Steps:
1) You can continue to use any existing mini-tennis recurring sessions until January 2021. If you need to set up a new course for junior players you can create a new LTA Youth Course.
Please Note: To run LTA Youth courses your coach(es) must have completed the LTA Youth training and supplementary online unit. You can find LTA Youth: Coach Foundation Training here.
See the guide here on how to create an LTA Youth course.
2) Alternatively, you can create your own custom coaching category and run your courses there. You can find out about creating custom categories here.
