Creating An LTA Youth Course

Please Note: To coach an LTA Youth course, you need to have completed the LTA Youth: Coach Foundation Training and the supplementary online unit before you can start creating/setting an LTA Youth course on the LTA ClubSpark platform. 

For your LTA Youth Courses to appear online, you will need to have created/linked a Stripe account. 

Please Note: Courses will only show up to 70 days in advance on LTA Play.

Step 1: To create an LTA Youth course, you will first need to head to the Coaching Module within the admin area of the platform and click on the 'LTA Youth' programme. 

Step 2:  Once you are with the LTA Youth programme, you'll need to click on the 'Add New Course' button, which is located in the top right corner of the screen. 

Step 3: The following overlay will then appear, where you can select what type of course you'd wish to create: 

Step 4: Once you have selected the type of course you'd like to create, you'll then be taken to the course setup page. 

Please Note: The steps within the guide is for creating a Short Course. If you wish to create a Recurring Session or Single Session course type, then you can follow the steps within the respective guides. 

Here, you'll be abe to select the 'stage' that the LTA Youth course will as well as enter other course information.

Step 4.1: Next, you'll be able to enter if the cost of your course. 

You can take payment online via Stripe or offline, as well select if you'd like players to still be able to book on once the course has started. 

Please Note: You can only allow players to still book on once the course has started if you do not have a registration window in place. 

If you want to offer a member discount you can select between the 'user selection' or 'based on membership status' options. If you select 'user selection' then the member has to select whether they are a member or non-member when booking onto the course.

If you select 'based on membership status' option then the membership will be validated when a member is booking a course. Please Note: This feature is only available on venue accounts. This will be coming to Coaching Organisations in 2022. 

Step 4.2: 

You can also set up participant cancellation and auto-refunds. 

Step 4.3: Next, you'll need to setup your session defaults.

Step 5:  Once you have created your LTA Youth course, you will need to click on the blue 'Save Course' button at the bottom of the page. 

Your course will now appear your on website as well as the LTA Youth national campaign website.
