There may come a time you wish to create a page just for club members viewing, this could be for social club events coming up or other important details you wish to only be accessible to members.
Which pages can be made 'members only'?
Currently, it will be sub-pages and and custom pages. Module specific pages such as the 'booking, events, 'membership' and 'coaching' pages cannot be made as 'members only'. You'd need to create a sub-page for these pages as per our guide.
NOTE: Do not call the page Members Only - this will prevent the page from working. In the navigation text you can call it Members Page or Members.
Steps for making the sub-page / custom page 'members':
Step 1: Head to the website module on the left.
Step 2: Click the applicable page, sub-pages require you to scroll down and click 'edit' to load their content.
Step 3: There is a 'members only' toggle, please click on the right side so it turns blue to restrict it to 'members only' access.
NOTE: The 'show in navigation' toggle beneath the 'members on?' toggle should also be on so the page is visible on your live website for members.
Step 4: Click 'save page settings' at the bottom left of your screen:
How does the page appear to a 'non-member'?
The page heading will be visible, however; they'll get an error message stating that the page is for members of your tennis club only. See below (our example page has the heading 'members', yours will be different):
One of our club members cannot see this page, what do I do?
Please check that they have 'active' membership status and they MUST be signed in If they have a family membership, their role should be 'main contact and member', if you see 'main contact only', they'd need to be added to the membership as a 'member' too.
If you are still unable to get this to work for your member(s) please contact us via support@clubspark.com and we'll be happy to help.
