You can have unlimited custom pages that you can use to display additional information that is not related to any of the module webpages. These custom pages can be used to share information about your club or tournaments. They are not connected to any of the other areas.
You can also select these custom pages to be Members Only page, see Creating 'members only' webpages for more information.
To add a custom page - in the website module: click on found at the top right of the screen in Pages.
Step 1:
You will see this pop up, where you choose the name of the custom page. You can edit this later.
Note: It has to be less than 15 characters and can not be one of the few words that are saved for other pages that are linked to modules, i.e. Membership, Camps, Tournaments, Booking, Coaching, Activities.
Click Create Page.
Next for your web page to display publicly on your website, you'll need to turn it on in navigation. You can edit the name here too. In navigation sort order, you can choose where it will appear in the navigation bar on the website.
Step 2:
Here you'll be able to enter your page photos- you can choose the Header Cover Image and Main page photo.
The header image is shown in the bar across the top of the page.
The Main Photo Page is a smaller photo. If you leave it blank it won't show and text will flow across the page.
The page heading is mandatory and will show across the Header cover image.
Please Note: For best viewing of this photo we recommend uploading a photo with dimensions of 1400px by 650px. Please see: How To Edit Images and Uploading Files And Images To Your Website
Example of what the images look like on the public page:
In the page content you can change the font size, add hyper links to URLs or word documents uploaded in your file manager, add images. Use the bullet points, bold, underline etc.
There is a limit of 10, 000 characters.
Step 3:
Here you will be able to create up to 7 sub-pages to display on your Custom Pages.

Step 4:
In the final section of creating/updating your Custom Pages, you'll be able to add in your Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). This helps in where/how your website display in search engine results.

Step 5:
Once you are happy with how your webpage is looking and with any changes made, please remember to click the blue 'Save Changes' button at the bottom of the screen.
If you exit the page before clicking this button, all your changes will be lost and you'll need to re-do them again. r5
