- Video Tutorial on How to Make a Group Booking.
Step 1: When making a booking, members/ players would first need to be logged into their ClubSpark account, when they select the booking time on the court booking sheet the following overlay will appear.
Booking with Another Member:
Step 2: In this example Rebecca is the logged-in user who is making the booking, she is a member. Now to add her opponent's details, she would then select '+ Add participant'. Depending on the rules in the schedules, she can add as many participants as allowed - for this example, we have added 2. You can not exceed the number in the ruleset. Then press 'Continue booking'. Please Note: They will need to manually enter the members name in it doesn't give them a list from the database.
Step 3: The next page is to confirm your booking. If the court booking is free because they are members, then it will show £0 cost. Press 'Confirm'. The booking has been made.
Booking with A Guest:
Step 4: If a member books with a guest. They follow the same steps as before, but when they '+ Add participant', they must mark them as a 'Guest' rather than a 'Member'.
Once they have completed this, they click 'Continue booking', this will take them to confirm the booking. If you have guest prices in the ruleset, for example - I have £10 for guests. This cost will show on the next page. The person making the booking then selects 'Confirm and pay'.
Step 5: On the next screen, they will ask for your card details. An email will be sent confirming the booking.
Things to know:
- When a participant is added to a court booking, this is a text-only field, therefore, a contact record will not be generated within the Contacts listing in the Admin area and the system will not be able to know if the opponent is a member. This will be up to the member to input.
- Guest booking: If you allow the public to book. They will follow the same as above. They will have to add the name of their opponent. Please Note: It is not mandatory for the member to add the opponent to continue to booking.
