Within the Coaching module, you are able to create coaching courses within your coaching programmes, whether that being a short course, single session or recurring sessions.
Please note: In order for your courses to receive online payments you must register an account with our payment provider Stripe.
Step 1: Head to the Coaching module and select the programme (or create a new one) that the course will be part of.
Step 2: Once you have selected the coaching programme, click on 'Create a new course' in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Step 3: You will need to decide what type of course you want to create.
This article will go through the steps on how to create a 'Short course'.
Step 4: You will now need to enter all the course details such as status, the activity, course name, skill level, age level, start date and description which will all be visible on your website.
You can have the status set to:
- Hidden: The course is not available to anyone. Use this setting while you are making changes to avoid confusion.
- Public: The course will be available to all and will appear in search results.
- Direct link only: The course will not appear in search results, but will be available via direct links.
- Archived: The course is no longer available at your venue and will be moved into your archived courses.
The description text will be shown when booking the course. The confirmation text will be seen by the player once they have completed the booking.
You also have the option to 'Send Reminder Emails' to the players that join. If you would like to this option 'ON' simply click on the toggle and Enter your 'Reminder Email Information' Text.
Next, you will need to enter the start date of your upcoming course. You also have the option to add a 'Registration Window' to apply restrictions on bookings.
Choose an interval (weekly or daily), which days you would like the course on, number of weeks and the capacity for your course. You will need to input the contact name, email address and phone number of the venue.
The 'Provider wavier' field should be used for your terms and conditions. Please add a pdf file stating the terms and conditions each player is agreeing to by booking your course(s). You can also add a cover photo which will show on the website.
Now you will need to select with payment method you would like to offer. If choosing 'Offline' you can advise on how to pay. Here you can also choose who can book, offer a member discount, the cost of the course and whether you would like players to join after the course has started.
You now have the option to enable the 'Participant Cancellations' tab. You also have the option to enable the 'Auto Refund' toggle if you wish.
Lastly, enter the details of your lead coach and any other coaches who will be helping to run the course, what time the session starts and the duration. Once you are happy, you can save the course.
Step 5: Once the course has been saved, you will be taken to your course page where you can view and edit.
