Your Coaching module allows you to create a course within your coaching programmes.
First head to your Coaching module and click on 'View programmes' in the top right corner.
PLEASE NOTE: In order for your courses to display on the public website and receive online payments you must register an account with our payment provider Stripe.
Select one of your coaching programmes to create a course within.
Click on 'Add new course' in the top right of the next screen.
You need to decide what type of course you want to create by clicking on the box:
Short course - these courses are usually between 2 and 12 weeks long. Players pay for the course in full.
Ad-hoc class - individual classes that can be added on an ad-hoc basis. Players usually pay per class.
First, fill in the details section. The name, skill level, age level and description, will be visible to your players when making a booking.
The confirmation text will be seen by your players, after they have completed the booking. Enter the date of your upcoming course - or if required - enter a past date or same-day date for courses which have already started. Choose an interval, number of sessions and the capacity for your course.
You have two options for joining and payment:
1 - Allow players to join after the course has started and set a price for each class. Choosing this option will mean a reduced fee, if players join the course after the start date. To enable this option, tick the box for 'Allow joining after course has started' and enter a figure in the box for 'Cost per class'. If there are only 2 sessions remaining in the course, then using the example below, the player will only be charged 2 x 6 = 12 :
2 - Allow players to join after the course has started and still charge the full fee for the course. This option is usually selected when players have attended classes from the beginning but have waited until later in the course to register and pay. To enable this option, tick the box for 'Allow joining after course has started' and leave the box for 'Cost per class' BLANK :
Finally, fill in the class defaults. *For coaching accounts only: You can enter the venue where your course will take place, just start typing and it will appear in the drop down menu. If your venue does not appear, click on the blue link to 'request a new venue'. Fill in the details of the venue on the following screen and click on submit. This will be sent to the LTA database and take approximately 48 hours to be added. Venue accounts do not have the option to select alternative locations for coaching courses.
Enter the details of your lead coach and any other coaches who will be helping to run the course in the 'Coaching team' box. (Please note: individual classes can be edited at a later date.) Save your course.
You will then be taken to your course page, where you can view, edit and add new classes. You can edit the course by clicking on 'Edit course' in the right hand corner as shown below.
This course can now be booked online. If you are using ClubSpark website management, this course will be displayed within your coaching page. If you have your own website, this will be displayed at https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/[venue name]/coaching.
Click on the Category name at the top of the page to return to the course list (e.g. Coaching shown below.)
Click anywhere along the row displaying your course (e.g.Monday Fun Day Classes) - and the course attendees, dates and Direct Links (which you can copy and paste to send out directly to attendees) will show:
Click on the Direct Link and your course will display on your website:
