Your Coaching Module allows you to create single sessions coaching courses.
Step 1:
First head to your Coaching Module and select which programme you would like to create your course in.
Step 2:
Once you have selected which programme you have created a course within, select the 'Add new course' button in the right-hand corner.
Step 3:
You will need to select what type of course, you would like to create. In this instance, it will be a 'Single session' Course.
Click here if you would like to create a Short Course or Recurring Session Course.
Step 4:
Fill in the details section. The name, skill level, age level and description, will be visible to your players when making a booking. The confirmation text will be seen by your players, after they have completed the booking.
If you are creating an adult course that is within a Custom Coaching Category, then you will be able to select if you would like for it to appear on the LTA booking platform (known as LTA Play).
If you would like to course to be more personal, you can also add a cover photo. For best viewing of this image, we recommend that the image has the dimensions of 1800px by 440px.
Next you can set up how to receive payments, who can book and if you would like to apply a members discount.
Under the 'Who can book' section, If you want the course to be members only you'd select 'Members only', this prevents non-members to be able to book. You can also choose 'Selected members only, this will allow you to restrict the course bookings to specific membership packages. You can add and remove packages that can book at any stage.
If you want to offer a 'Member discount' you can select between the 'User selection' or 'Based on membership status' options. If you select 'User selection' then the member has to select whether they are a member or non-member when booking onto the course.
If you select 'Based on membership status' option then the membership will be validated when a member is booking a course. Please Note: This feature is only available on venue accounts.
Next you will need to enter your 'Session Defaults' which will be the default for the upcoming sessions.
Sessions/Classes within a course can be edited after the course has been saved.
There is a new section for the feature 'Open courts', this allows players/members with disabilities to filter for courses and venues with specific facilities that meet their requirements (i.e. Wheelchair access, accessible toilets etc).
Step 5:
Then select 'Save course'.
Step 6:
Once you have saved the course, you will be taken to the following screen where you will need to create your single sessions. To do this, press the blue 'Add new session' on the right-hand side to determine the details of the class.
Step 7:
Here you will see the Session details where you can edit, and select the date of the session.
NOTE: Recurring sessions will mean that members of the packages chosen will be able to book all sessions for that course, it cannot be restricted per individual session.
When you have created all your single sessions, they will display on your website where participants will be able to book on.
In the Admin area, you will find the session register, where you will be able to Manually add a participant and view the web page via the Direct link which you can also use to send out participants.
If you follow the Direct Link, your Single Session Course will appear online as follows.
